VOTER REGISTRATION

To vote, producers and importers of Hass avocados must register each eligible person or legal entity by completing and submitting the registration form below.

You must complete and submit the registration form for each Producer ID or Importer ID you have received.

To vote, each legal entity must meet these eligibility requirements:

  1. Each legal entity, whether as a sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation, shall be entitled to one (1) vote for each nominee for which it is eligible to vote.
  2. The right to vote is retained by the legal entity that pays assessments as required by the Order.
  3. All producers of record may vote for producer members and alternate nominees.
  4. All importers of record may vote for importer members and alternate nominees.
  5. There shall be no proxy voting.

To register to vote you must be authorized by the voting person or legal entity to complete/submit the information in this form.

According to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, an agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to a collection of information unless it displays a valid OMB control number. The valid OMB control number for this information collection is 0581-0093. The time required to complete this information collection is estimated to average 15 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information.

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at https://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
