Abigail Woolf is a Field Representative at Brokaw Nursery, where she advises growers on rootstock and scion selection, planting practices, fertilization, and irrigation management. She earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Middlebury College and a master's degree in Development Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on data analytics. Abigail is passionate about supporting growers through science-based recommendations and looks forward to strengthening her leadership skills while expanding her knowledge of the avocado industry through the BOLD Program.

Alan Garcia earned a degree in International Business with a specialization in Agribusiness from Tecnológico de Monterrey. After relocating to McAllen, Texas, in 2012, he began his career in the avocado industry with an importing company before joining B&M Avocados LLC as Chief Operating Officer in 2017. Throughout his career, Alan has developed a strong appreciation for the avocado business and remains committed to supporting its continued growth through collaboration, leadership, and active participation in the BOLD Program.

Arleth Calogero graduated from Universidad Tecnológica de México and has spent the past decade building her career at West Pak Avocado. Beginning as a Sourcing Administrator, she advanced through export and product management roles before taking on broader responsibilities in sourcing and import operations. Today, as Director of Fruit Procurement and Imports, Arleth oversees procurement strategies while working closely with growers, suppliers, and industry partners to maintain a reliable global supply chain. She is honored to participate in the BOLD Program and looks forward to strengthening her leadership skills while contributing to the continued growth of the avocado industry.

Bani Chavez has been part of the avocado industry since 2019 with Coliman Avocados. While his background has primarily focused on sales, his current role as Senior Sales Manager also includes sourcing operations, providing broader insight into the industry's opportunities and challenges. Through the BOLD Program, Bani hopes to expand his industry knowledge, exchange ideas with fellow professionals, and continue developing the leadership skills needed to help drive meaningful growth across the avocado industry.

Ben Harmon is an Account Manager at Mission Produce in Oxnard, California. Originally from Bakersfield, California, he discovered his passion for agriculture while working in cotton fields during high school. After earning a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Ben gained experience across receiving, quality assurance, shipping, and sales. Today, he manages key retail and wholesale accounts, helping promote avocados nationwide. Ben is excited to continue expanding his industry knowledge while building lasting relationships through the BOLD Program.

Chris Nichols holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bucknell University with minors in English and Computer Science. After spending two decades in the technology sector focused on e-commerce and educational resources, he transitioned into the family farming business in 2017. Today, Chris helps manage more than 140 acres of lemons and Hass and GEM avocados. As a third-generation avocado grower and fifth-generation citrus farmer, he is committed to combining generational farming knowledge with practical technology to improve orchard management, fruit quality, and long-term sustainability.

Kirk Holmes is the Owner of Holmes Grown USA, a 10-acre commercial avocado grove in Escondido, California, and a technology executive with expertise in data engineering and finance. As a second-generation grower, he combines precision agriculture, high-density planting, and e-commerce strategies to help modernize family farming operations. Kirk is passionate about supporting local growers and preserving family farms, and he looks forward to strengthening his leadership skills while contributing to the future of sustainable agriculture through the BOLD Program.

Luis earned a bachelor's degree in Information Science from the University of Maryland and is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. He is passionate about connecting global markets through logistics and looks forward to growing as a future leader in the avocado industry through BOLD.

Natalia holds a degree in International Business from Universidad de Medellín and a master's degree in International Trade from Université de Cergy-Pontoise in France. Through the BOLD Program, she looks forward to strengthening industry collaboration and contributing to the continued growth of the global avocado sector.

Pedro Gomez is the Sourcing Director at Seald Sweet LLC, a Greenyard company, where he manages sourcing programs and supplier relationships across multiple fresh produce categories, including avocados. Originally from Mexico, Pedro has more than 15 years of experience in produce sourcing throughout Mexico, South America, and the United States. He holds degrees from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has completed executive education at IPADE and Cornell University. Pedro is excited to participate in the BOLD Program to strengthen leadership, collaboration, and industry engagement.

Russell Huizenga is a California Field Buyer at Index Fresh, where he works closely with growers throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management and Protection with a minor in Soil Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Prior to joining Index Fresh, Russell spent four years with West Pak Avocado, gaining experience across California's avocado-growing regions. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the California Avocado Society and is passionate about supporting growers, advancing industry education, and strengthening connections across the global avocado supply chain through the BOLD Program.

Sabrina Castillo was born in the Dominican Republic, where she grew up surrounded by avocado groves owned by her family. She earned a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Business Administration from Lynn University. Sabrina began her avocado industry career with Fresh Directions International in 2007 and has held leadership roles across finance, operations, marketing, quality, merchandising, and sales. Today, as Chief Sales and Operations Officer, she helps lead one of the leading exporters of Dominican avocados while overseeing sourcing from multiple countries. Sabrina also serves as an Importer Alternate Member of the Hass Avocado Board and is honored to continue developing her leadership through the BOLD Program.

Tyler earned his MS/MBA from Indiana and Purdue Universities and is passionate about advancing the avocado category. Through the BOLD Program, he hopes to deepen his understanding of industry leadership, governance, and advocacy while contributing to the future success of the avocado industry.
