2024 Hass Avocado Board Annual Report

Each year, the Hass Avocado Board (HAB) is mandated to submit an audited annual accounting of its financial records to the USDA and produce an Annual Report to be made public. All of HAB’s Annual Reports, dating back to 2003 are available for your review and reading on HAB’s website here.

The Annual Reports have been a great way for folks to learn more about HAB, its programs, its strategic plans, and an annual review letter from both the Chairperson and the Executive Director going back for years. To see the progression and growth of this organization, take some time to go back and follow the path of the Annual Reports, and watch the Board, the membership of the Board, and the dynamic work of the Board over time. It has become one of the most downloaded information pieces we post every year, as industry members and other stakeholders can see the actions taken to garner the results, we all share.

You can see the celebration of certain milestones over the years. From the strategy pivot to prioritize nutrition research and nutrition marketing in 2011 and 2012 to the 20th Anniversary celebration we noted in the 2022 Report, you can see the inflection points the industry has celebrated as the strategy was created, took hold, and helped drive our number one strategic priority: driving demand for Hass Avocados here in the U.S. marketplace.

On that note, our 2024 Annual Report is a reminder of the 2024 film that the industry collaborated on to help celebrate what it has helped create—the United States as “AvocadoNation.” It is a reminder of the work we consistently do to grow the demand for the extraordinary fruit we all bring to market, and to highlight the work and investments we all make to keep our path onward and upward.
