MISSION VIEJO, Calif., (June 3, 2019) – The Hass Avocado Board (HAB) is partnering in June with, one of the most visited fitness and wellness online platforms in the country, to promote the health benefits of eating a fresh avocado daily. Engaging a potential online audience of over 32 million health-focused consumers, tactics center around a month-long avocado challenge where thousands of dedicated members of the Facebook community will be encouraged to enjoy an avocado each day, share their favorite recipes and promote how the delicious and nutritious fruit is supporting their healthy living goals.

Messages highlight the versatility and multiple health benefits of fresh avocados including how their consumption supports heart health, weight management, maintaining normal glucose and insulin levels for people with type 2 diabetes and overall healthy living.
