Hass Avocado Board New Webinar Series

Always looking for new ways to communicate our efforts in making avocados America’s favorite fruit, and sharing the research, data, and resources we have created to help the industry drive towards our collective goal, we have recently designed a new HAB webinar series to do just that.

Our work to build this research, and data sets, which we believe can help grow our collective business here in the U.S., has continued through the difficult last 14 months. However, as we all know, getting together this past year has been incredibly tough for all of us. While it still presents some challenges, we want to continue informing and engaging the industry with all our business tools through a webinar series.

We will begin the webinar series with an overview of HAB’s 2021-2025 strategic plan that was approved by the Board of Directors back in September of 2020. Learn more in a brief 30-minute webinar where you will hear directly from Executive Director Emiliano Escobedo.

He will discuss HAB’s mission, vision and the guiding values that will take the industry from 2021 to 2025, along with the strategic priorities that will result in valuable insights and resources for your business. The webinar will also focus on how key issues such as sustainability and nutrition will play significant roles in the future of the industry. A brief presentation will be followed by live Q&A. All interested members of the industry are invited to attend this free webinar.

Hass Avocado Board: Equipping the Entire Industry for Success

The webinars will be scheduled every four to six weeks, to tackle another topic, and highlight another one of the research projects we have worked on this past year or so. From “Building the Path to Dynamic Avocado Category Growth” which will be highlighting shopper purchase behavior to a session on “Avocado Bag Sales – an Impact Study” to looking at “Millennial Avocado Market Basket” to understand more about avocado shopper behavior. We will get this insightful, and more importantly, actionable information out to the importers and marketers who can use this to drive our collective business onward and upward.
