Have you Registered To Vote For The Hass Avocado Board 2025 Nominees?

You have until Monday, April 21, 2025, to register to vote for the 2025 HAB nominees.

To vote, U.S. eligible Hass avocado producers and importers must register to vote each eligible person or legal entity by completing and submitting the registration form online by Monday, April 21, 2025.

To register to vote, you will need your HAB producer or importer ID. If you do not have your ID, contact Silvia Standke at silvia@hassavocadoboard.com. You must complete and submit the registration form for each ID you have received.

Ballots will be emailed by the Eballoting agency to all registered voters on May 1, 2025.

As board members, eligible producers and importers play a crucial role in supporting HAB’S mission to strengthen the global avocado industry and its stakeholders in the collective efforts toward U.S. market development through leadership in nutrition, communications, business support tools and information, and sustainability practices throughout the supply chain. Individuals will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping HAB’s focus and the distribution of investments and collaborate with stakeholders across the supply chain to address industry challenges.

After receiving the tabulated votes from the CPA or eballoting agency, the Board shall submit at least two names for each available producer and importer member and alternate seat to the Secretary of Agriculture, listed in descending order by vote. The Secretary appoints the members and alternates to the Hass Avocado Board to begin their term on November 1, 2025, and serve through October 31, 2028. They will officially be seated at the board meeting along with alternates on November 18, 2025.
