Important: 2025 HAB Ballots Have Been Emailed!
This is a notice that the 2025 Hass Avocado Board (HAB) ballots were emailed on May 1, 2025. If you are a California avocado producer or U.S. based importer and registered to vote electronically or provided your email address on a previous year’s paper ballot, you should have received an email with your HAB ballot.
Ballots were sent for each registered entity ID (CA Producer or U.S. Importer). If you are associated with multiple entities, you will receive separate emails for each entity, with each email containing a unique username and password for voting. The ballots include the names and background information of all nominees running for open seats on the Board.

✅ Voting Instructions:
- Open each email individually.
- Use the unique username and password provided in each message to vote on behalf of that specific entity.
- Note: Each entity has a different password—you must vote separately for each.

After receiving the tabulated votes from the CPA, the Board shall submit at least two names for each available producer and importer member and alternate seat to the Secretary of the United States Department of Agriculture, listed in descending order by vote. The Secretary appoints the members and alternates to the Hass Avocado Board to begin their term on November 1, 2025, and serve through October 31, 2028. New appointees will officially be seated at the board meeting on November 18, 2025.
